Last Shabbat ...An Extra Delight

I must admit that this past Shabbat had an extra element of delight in it. Daniel Neiden davenned the entire Friday night and Saturday morning services for us. It has been quite a while since Daniel has led our services, but it was easy to note a sense of joy in the room as he led us through the siddur. For me, being on the bimah with Daniel is always a reminder of the wonderful friendship that our two mothers shared. It reminds me that the intangible pleasures in life are indeed the lasting pleasures.
