As members grow older and travel to synagogue especially in cold winter weather becomes difficult if not impossible, it has been wonderful bringing our service to two senior living centers, the Landing and Legacy Estates. In each case we had many of our members come to show support for those who are less mobile. At both services, the feeling of camaraderie was palpable. Those of us who attended felt uplifted from the experience.
I hope we can expand this way of sharing services to others in the near future.
