This afternoon I ran into an individual who asked me how our tour of Israel was.  My response was, "It was great! It met my greatest expectations and that was quite amazing considering that we had individuals aged 7-77 with us."  I then proceeded to announce that I am going to put together another tour for this coming summer.  Surprisingly enough, I was asked, "WHY?"

My immediate response was that I had individuals asking to return on another tour with Tifereth Israel and that there were individuals who had heard of the incredible experiences on tour #1 who asked if they could participate on a tour as well.

What I forgot to mention is that Israel cannot be experienced in 9 days nor just by seeing Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, the Galilee, and the Golan Heights.  Tour #2 will provide new sites, new opportunities for interacting with people and the land.  It will be designed to meet the needs of first time participants as well as second time participants.

When I was much younger I traveled to Israel every 10 years (age 24, 34, 44) and was amazed at the changes that had occurred during those time periods.  My travels to Israel have been much more frequent during the past twenty three years.  I still have experiences that I want to share with others, sites that I want to have others explore.  My love affair with Israel would never have been the same had it not been for returning there after my first visit.  So, if you want to think about joining the 2nd annual Tifereth Israel Tour of Israel....know that I'd be delighted to have you come along for a trip of a lifetime! Just ask any of last year's participants how pleased they were with their decision to travel and explore and learn together.
