What a joyous day this was! We had a lovely group assemble to hear the reading of the Megillah. We were too large for the room we were in and even had to move to a larger setting. It was a congenial group and a very enjoyable gathering. Each individual who showed up actually added an extra dose of happiness to our celebration of Purim.
This was also the day that little Jacob Alexander Bowers began his entrance into the Covenant of Abraham with his brit milah ceremony. Attended by his family and members of the community he became a welcomed member of the Jewish people and a link in the covenant of Israel. What a blessing he is to his family and to all of us!
All in all this was a very satisfying day at Tifereth Israel. I look forward to many more simchas.
