Thinking about our upcoming journey to Israel.  The tour that is being formed for this coming June started out with a phone call from Kenes Tours last July right after I returned from taking a group of 29 to Israel.  Although I didn't anticipate saying, "YES, I'll do it," obviously I did say that.  I am excited about many of the experiences we will be offering our tour participants.  Some of the more unique parts of the tour will be star-gazing in the Negev desert, picking crops for the needy at a moshav, participating in an archaeological dig, taking a jeep tour of the world's largest wind erosion canyon, and riding camels.

I look forward to sharing updated photos after the journey featuring this summer's participants.  They will range in age from 11 to 89.  They will be members of Tifereth Israel and South Street Temple as well as individuals who live in New York .  There will be 17 of us...a smaller group, but what is most amazing is that we are able to have a 2nd tour within the span of 1 year.  Many communities can not manage to have that level of interest.
