What does it take to give a person hope?
Sulam L'Atid, a non-profit NGO in Israel, is doing just that! It is helping impoverished students and their families living in Jerusalem. How? By offering free tutoring in school subjects to students and giving vouchers for food to their families, students are now staying in school rather than working 35-40 hours a week to support their families. By staying in school, these students are not only securing a better future for themselves, but they are on the road to becoming more productive members of Israeli society.
